To compliment the progressive and pioneering talents we wanted the identity and visual narrative to be modern contemporary with a futuristic tone. “FREAK” abbreviation from Freak of nature was a strong confident name that encapsulated the spirit and energy of the project.
Monster wanted to have printed material to promote the world wide release, so to fit the narrative we designed a limited edition FREAK book with dynamic QR code replacing the more traditional Blue ray format which the sport still heavily supports. A QR FREAK cube was also designed and produced to be sent to venues and supporting shops around the world as well as limited custom designed energy drink cans. The project received the 2023 Nora Cup award for video of the year.
